Injury
Sprain or strain.
Sprains involve ligaments; strains involve muscle or tendon. Most respond to RICE (rest, ice, compression, elevation) plus pain control. Imaging rules out fracture.
Quick answer
For sprains and strains, we take an X-ray on-site (to rule out fracture) and provide splinting, wrap, or brace the same visit.
