Illness

    Allergic reaction.

Allergic reactions range from a rash to life-threatening anaphylaxis. We treat mild reactions and refer for allergy testing when episodes are recurrent.

    Quick answer

Mild-to-moderate allergic reactions (hives, itching, mild swelling) are treated with antihistamines and steroids at urgent care. Anaphylaxis (throat swelling, breathing trouble) requires 911.
